Introducing MANGOPAY
Introducing MANGOPAY
We strive to achieve the most simple and secure money transfer and storage for our partners.
Crowdfunder allows you to transfer one large fund into our system that can then be distributed to projects in smaller payments.
We do this through our integration with MANGOPAY, a licensed electronic money issuer. By working with MANGOPAY, we are able to provide a secure E-Wallet accounts system to hold your funds separately from our own accounts and assets whilst enhancing your control, flexibility and simplicity.
As a partner, you will set up a digital wallet in MANGOPAY in your organisation's name. You are not charged by MANGOPAY for the wallet or any services so you will not receive invoices from MANGOPAY. Crowdfunder will notify you of the amounts of the funds you need to transfer into your MANGOPAY wallet based on what is agreed in the purchase order.
Setting up your MANGOPAY wallet
It can take a few days for MANGOPAY to review and approve/decline your documents.
You will need a legal representative for your organisation to upload their personal ID documents. This will need to be a listed director if you are registered with Companies House or a named member of the leadership team of any other type of organisation.
We recommend that you start your wallet setup as soon as possible.
Once approved, you’ll be able to transfer funds straight into your wallet.

What if my document isn’t accepted?
What if my document isn’t accepted?
Once you upload your documents and submit them for review, the MANGOPAY Legal Team will review and approve them.
If further information is required or if for whatever reason your documentation is not accepted, we will work with MANGOPAY to get you the clarification you need and you may need to resubmit, which means going through the set-up process again.
Read through these step-by-step guides thoroughly - the condition of the uploads, for example, is very important for MANGOPAY to be able to approve the documents.
