Receiving Projects for Nature funds raised, including MangoPay wallet information

Updated over a week ago

Projects can receive pledges from businesses and the public. Whilst the technology used to process these funds are different, the following principles apply to both:

Funds are paid out once a project has closed. This will be once the project has reached its target or at the end of the 6-month pilot period.

Projects that select the "all or nothing" funding method will need to achieve their target otherwise all funds are returned to the donors when the project closes.

All funds are paid directly into the bank account used in the setup of your project (these need to be in the same name as your organisation). Business donations are processed via our payment provider Mangopay. Crowd donations are processed via our payment provider Stripe. For Stripe you'll set this up through the project creation process and Mangopay as and when you receive a donation from a business.
