Charity Profile pages are a great way to increase your charity’s visibility on Crowdfunder. They make it easy for supporters to:
Donate directly to your cause
Start fundraisers on your behalf
Each profile acts as a dedicated landing page for your charity. Unlike standard fundraising projects, profiles:
Have no deadlines or targets
Stay open indefinitely
Accept payments at any time
👉 For a full overview of features available through Charity Profile pages, check out our Charity Profile Guide.
⚠️ Important Note: If you have a Charity Profile page and want to apply for +Extra Funding, you'll need to start a new project from your dashboard.
+Extra Funding opportunities cannot be linked directly to your Charity Profile, so creating a separate project is essential to be eligible.
What’s the Difference Between a Charity Profile and a Project?
A project is different from a Charity Profile—it’s ideal when you want to raise funds for a specific cause and have a target goal in mind.
Once your Charity Profile page is set up, you can create a project or prize draw that’s automatically linked to it. Funds raised will go directly into the charity bank account registered to your profile.
How to Start a Project or Prize Draw:
Log in and click ‘My charity’ in the top right of your profile
Select ‘New project’ or ‘New prize draw’, depending on your goal
Don’t Have a Charity Profile Yet?
If you’re not set up with a Charity Profile, you can still run a single project to raise money for your cause. This is a great option if:
You need to start fundraising quickly
You’re short on time and want to avoid the wait (Charity Profiles require verification and due diligence, which can take a little while)
You’ll still be able to:
Use your charity’s bank account to collect funds
Enable Gift Aid and collect declarations from donors
Set up a full Charity Profile later if you choose to
