We require every creator to verify their identity before they can collect any funds.

If you don’t have a connection to the creator, you may want to get a better idea about who they are. On the project page you may find additional resources like links to websites, relevant background information, or links to their social media accounts.

The projects creator's public Crowdfunder profile may also hold relevant information.

Aside from this, reading through the project description and watching the video should give a better sense of the person or team behind the project. We encourage supporters to do their own research on a project before deciding to pledge.

If you have more questions, you can send the project creator a message to ask them. You can find the instructions on how to do that here.
