Crowdfunder's fees vary according to the type of project you're running.
PLATFORM FEE (for profit projects)
Crowdfunder charges 5% of the total money raised by projects so that we can invest in our platform and improve our performance. This ensures that we provide the best possible service and allows us to support more projects like yours.
TRANSACTION FEE (non-charity projects)
Crowdfunder charges a card payment processing fee of 2.4% on the amount you raise, plus 20p and VAT on each pledge made. The fee is 3.25% plus 25p and VAT if using a non-EEA card (for example, pledging from the US).
Transaction fees apply to ALL projects. These fees help us to cover costs incurred by our online payment processing partner.
MATCH FUNDING FEE
If your project is eligible for match funding, a fee of 5% + VAT may be charged on any match funds you receive from our partners; it is dependent on which fund you have received, so please check if you are unsure. However, Crowdfunder does not charge any additional fees or commissions beyond this standard match funding fee. Pledges made by our funding partners are not subject to platform fees or transaction fees.
TIPPING
Finally, Crowdfunder enables supporters to pay a little extra to help support us as we support you. When they pledge, they have the option to donate a tip.

You'll be able to see the fee structure you've set up before you go live. You'll also need to agree to these fees by ticking the box below before you hit the 'go live now' button.
WHAT ABOUT NOT-FOR-PROFIT CAMPAIGNS?
We do not charge platform fees for projects set up using the not-for-profit option when you create your project.
If a project is mistakenly set up as 'for-profit,' it may be reclassified to 'not-for-profit' with the adjusted fee structure applied to future donations.
WHAT ABOUT CHARITIES AND FUNDRAISERS?
We do not charge platform fees for projects set up using our fundraiser service. This applies to both charity and personal fundraisers.
There are also lower transaction fees for Charities with a card payment processing fee of 1.9% on the amount you raise, plus 20p and VAT on each pledge made.
