To unsubscribe from Crowdfunder emails, log in to your Crowdfunder account and follow these instructions. If you used a guest checkout, you will need to activate your account.
Marketing emails often include promotional messages, Crowdfunder news, and updates about crowdfunding opportunities.
Alternatively, you can unsubscribe from marketing emails directly by clicking on the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any Crowdfunder marketing email. This will redirect you to your email preferences settings.
1. Press 'My Profile ' in the top right-hand side drop-down menu as shown below.
2. Press 'Edit Profile' and you will be taken to your profile settings page, click on the notification tab.
3. You will then see the options of the different emails from Crowdfunder that you can opt in or out of. Tick the box to receive email notifications, or leave them blank/untick them if you do not want to get Crowdfunder news or Project recommendations from us.
Alternatively, for GDPR compliance, you can contact Crowdfunder directly to request the removal of your email for all excluded purposes, including marketing and project updates.
Emails from Projects
If you have pledged to a project, you will receive an email thanking you for your pledge and another email to say whether the project was successful or not. You will also automatically be set up to receive any project updates that the project posts via email. If you do not wish to receive project updates, then log in to your Crowdfunder account, and the following box will also appear, which manages the messages you receive from any projects that you have pledged to.
Examples of these essential emails include pledge receipts and updates on the success or failure of projects you support.
This ensures compliance with GDPR requirements, giving you control over the communications you receive.
Regularly reviewing and updating your email preferences ensures you only receive the emails most relevant to your crowdfunding activities, minimising irrelevant communication.
Untick the boxes if you no longer wish to be sent notifications from the project.
