BACKERS LIST

If you are running a flexible funding (keep what you raise) project then you can access your supporters details when you are live..

Go to the Manage section of your dashboard and then click on Download supporter details (as pictured below).

Once your project closes successfully or if you are an All or Nothing Project, you can download all supporters details by logging into your project and heading to the Supporters section of your dashboard. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and you'll see the option to download the required details.

You will need to tick the box agreeing to the terms and input your password before clicking Submit to trigger the download of this excel spreadsheet. This document contains sensitive information, such as email addresses and postal addresses so please store this information safely.

We always advise projects to wait until the project has closed successfully and they have received the money pledged on the project before sending rewards to supporters.

This is the information you will have available on your download:

  • Pledge date-time
  • Pledger name
  • Pledger email **
  • Reward Price
  • Quantity required
  • Total amount
  • Reward description
  • Reward option
  • Address (if pledged on a reward that need to be posted)
  • Marketing consent (supporter consent to receive marketing updates from you)
  • Receive update consent (supporter consent to receive project updates).

IMPORTANT: The supporters email addresses will not be shown in the backers download if the supporter has donated only (not selected a reward) and has not opted in to project owner marketing. You will still be able to message the supporter from your supporters tab on the project dashboard.

GIFT AID REPORT

If you are crowdfunding as a charity, you can download a separate Gift Aid report. This is available in the Manage section of your dashboard. The report contains the names and postal addresses of supporters who selected Gift Aid when pledging on your project. You will need this when claiming Gift Aid from HMRC.
