Crowdfunder's fees vary according to the type of project you're running.
Crowdfunder charges 3% of the total money raised by projects so that we can invest in our platform and improve our performance. This ensures that we provide the best possible service and allows us to support more projects like yours.
Please note that we are currently waiving platform fees on projects that are fundraising as a consequence of the coronavirus pandemic.
Crowdfunder charges a card payment processing fee of 1.9% on the amount you raise, plus 23p and VAT on each pledge made. The fee is 3.25% plus 25p and VAT if using a non-EEA card (for example, pledging from the US).
Transaction fees apply to ALL projects, including those fundraising in response to COVID-19. These fees help us to cover costs incurred by our online payment processing partner.
EXTRA FUNDING FEE
If your project is eligible for extra funding, a fee of 5% + VAT will apply to any match funds you receive from our partners (unless we notify you otherwise). Pledges made by our extra funding partners are not subject to platform fees or transaction fees.
Finally, Crowdfunder enables supporters to pay a little extra to help support us as we support you. When they pledge, they have the option to donate a tip of 0-15%.

WHAT ABOUT CHARITIES AND FUNDRAISERS?
We do not charge platform fees for projects set up using our fundraiser service. This applies to both charity and personal fundraisers.
