You can crowdfund at anytime. It’s up to you to decide when is best. Here are a couple of things to think about when making your decision:

If you crowdfund during your voting campaign you won’t have to go back to your crowd of supporters to ask them for money later. And by connecting your two projects, your supporters will able to see your crowdfunding progress and pledge right from your Aviva voting page.

But, you may want to see if you get shortlisted or selected for an Aviva Community Fund award before setting your crowdfunding target. If you chose to crowdfund after the voting phase closes, you’ll still be able to tap into the crowd you’ve built along the way and direct them to your crowdfunding page.
